Tyler Verda for Snohomish County Council

I know firsthand what education and a good job can do for someone.  I grew up here in a union household worked construction while attending Everett Community College.  I transferred to UW and worked my way through college with the help of work tuition reimbursement from a stable union job.

In my work at the County, I manage homeless housing and human services programs.  Previously working as an Aide in the Legislature and for Councilmember Dunshee, I helped advance measures including the Opioid Crisis Intervention Plan, transportation infrastructure, and the minimum wage increase.

I’m still living in the Port Gardner neighborhood in Everett, not too far from where I grew up.  I love this community and am committed to giving back.
